Women’s Centre hosting employment summit Sept. 17
The Sudbury Women’s Centre is once again hosting its Employment Summit Opportunity Hub.
The event is set for Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northern Watersports Centre.
The two-hour event will feature speakers, interactive booths and networking opportunities. Attendees have a chance to win a prize, too, and learn more about the services of the Women’s Centre.
During the event, Robin Bowers of Spark Employment Services will discuss diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, and the benefits of ensuring a diverse workplace, as well as what employers should do to be prepared.
As well, Denise Harrington of the Regional Business Centre will discuss resources to support clients in developing business plans that can enhance their grant applications, as well as tools to help identify available grants.
