Leaving an abusive relationship can be dangerous.

That’s why it’s important for victims to work with agencies to create a safety plan.

During a safety planning session staff will work one-on-one with clients to address their personal needs.

Safety planning includes the following topics and checks:

• Navigating the system
• General safety planning strategies
• Safety at home
• Safety for leaving
• Safety in the community
• Safety at work
• Safety while travelling.
