Employment and Entrepreneurship Series
These 2 hour workshops hosted by various community organizations provides training to individuals to help them successfully enter and re-enter the workforce.
Our employment workshops provide individuals with education, training, and practical work experience.
These workshops will help individuals develop a range of skills to increase their employability.
Employment-seeking individuals can meet with an Employment Navigator who will create a customized trai
ning plan that includes relevant training workshops hosted at our Centre by community partners and a two-week placement at our Centre in one of the following areas:
- Administration
- Retail Sales
- Advertising, Promotions, and Marketing
- Communications
- Bookkeeping
- Fund Development
- Social Service Assistance
We work with the following community partners to deliver workshops:
- SPARK Employment Services
- The Regional Business Centre
- PARO
