Sudbury Women’s Centre launches online raffle

The Sudbury Women’s Centre has announced the launch of its online summer raffle, which will raise funds to directly support the women, girls and gender-diverse individuals it serves.

“We are excited to offer this opportunity for our community to come together and support our clients,” Giulia Carpenter, executive director, said in a release. “This raffle not only offers participants a chance to win an amazing vacation but also contributes to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.”

Tickets are available via Rafflebox at rafflebox.ca/raffle/sudburywc and cost $10 each. Participants will have the chance to win an ultimate weekend getaway for two to beautiful Manitoulin Island over the Aug. 16-18 weekend. The prize includes:

– A unique and exciting two-night glamping stay at the Kicking Mule Ranch

– Two weekend passes to the Providence Bay Fair, which includes two general admission tickets to their Saturday night concert featuring Jade Eagleson, CCMA entertainer of the year, and rising country star Nate Haller

–Two $50 gift cards to grab some local eats while on Manitoulin Island

– A cooler packed full of Manitoulin Island swag and vacation essentials, with a value of $500

The raffle will takes place from June 19 to July 24. The winner will be drawn on July 24 at 9 a.m.

All proceeds will benefit SWC’s mission to serve women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals in Sudbury.
