Sudbury OSSTF teachers donate more than $5,000

The Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District 3 (OSSTF Sudbury) members are very happy to support local women in need and their families with a recent donation of over $5200.00 to the Sudbury Women’s Centre.

The donation was made on May 20th, 2025.

To raise the funds, the OSSTF District 3 Status of Women Committee hosted a Porketta Bingo at the Beef’n’Bird Tavern on March 28th.

OSSTF District 3 thanks those who supported the effort by buying tickets and the businesses that supported the fundraiser with door prizes, including Wander Food & Wine, All About Massage and Laser Services, Moetus Health, The Daventry Kitchen & Bar, Adoro Olive Oils & Vinegars, Golden Palace, Respect is Burning Kitchen and Bar, Verdicchio’s Ristorante, The Kouzzina, Ripe Restaurant, Milestones Sudbury, Golden Palace and The Daventry Kitchen and Bar.
