Executive Director of Sudbury Women’s Centre leaving

The board of directors of the Sudbury Women’s Centre has announced its executive director is leaving.

“With pride and a touch of sadness, we announce the departure of our esteemed executive director, Giulia Carpenter. After 6.5 incredible years of dedicated service, Giulia has been selected by another local organization to further her career,” the board said in a release. “While we will miss her invaluable contributions, we are thrilled to see her embark on this exciting new journey.”

The board said that under Carpenter’s leadership, the SWC “has achieved remarkable growth and success. Her unwavering commitment, strategic vision and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark. We owe much of our progress to her passion, resilience and ability to inspire everyone around her.

“As the board of directors, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Giulia. May her new role be as fulfilling and impactful as her time with us. We look forward to witnessing her continued success and cheering her on from afar.”
