Celebrate Mexico Independence Day and support Sudbury Women’s Centre

Celebrate Mexico Independence Day at La Casa Mexicana, 49 Elgin St., on Sept. 14 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. while supporting women and vulnerable individuals in our community.

There will be a delicious all-you-can-eat taco bar buffet, dancing and entertainment. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased at the restaurant or by calling 705-674-9901. There are limited tickets available.

Fifteen per cent of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Sudbury Women’s Centre to support women, girls and gender-diverse individuals in our community. SWC provides access to basic needs, education, referrals and workshops. More than ever, this support is needed now, the centre said.
