Early IWD Celebration at the Centre – Postcard Making (In Partnership with YWCA Sudbury)

Join us for an early celebration of International Women’s Day! SWC is partnering with YWCA Genevra House to host a creative and empowering event featuring the IWD Postcard Project, a national initiative where participants design postcards with messages of empowerment, solidarity, and encouragement.

These postcards will be mailed to women based agencies across Canada during the week of International Women’s Day, helping to spread connection, positivity, and support nationwide.

We encourage everyone to theme their messaging around this year’s IWD 2026 theme: Give to Gain!

Join us to:
– Create postcards with inspiring and empowering messages
– Connect and socialize in a welcoming, uplifting environment
– Celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of women

Snacks and beverages will be provided. No registration is required, however if you are not currently a client of SWC an intake will be required.
