Through funding provided by United Way Centraide North East Ontario, the Sudbury Women’s Centre says it has distributed a collective $10,000 in grocery gift cards. As a result, 200 women (575 total individuals including their family members) were given some much needed relief during these especially difficult times.

“The ability to support our community during these trying times is so important, and the Sudbury Women’s Centre remains committed to helping women thrive,” Giulia Carpenter, the executive director, said in a release. “Our clients continue to seek much needed services and support, and we remain here for them. This has not – and will not – change.
