Owner of Backyard Birder
Danielle is a retail business owner and co-owns Backyard Birder Nature Gift Shop. She is a nature enthusiast and bird expert and avid volunteer.
Danielle is passionate about human rights and environmental issues, believing that everyone is equally entitled to live in a safe and non-discriminatory world. She is also committed to the environment and believes that it is everybody’s social responsibility to ensure a sustainable future.
Danielle is excited to be a part of the Sudbury Women’s Centre Board of Directors, where she hopes to help the Center expand its services to better serve the women in the community.
Owner of Personal
Louise is a Professional Life and Workplace Coach and the Owner of Personal Energy Coaching which was launched in October 2010. In keeping with her value of “being of service” and her gratitude and appreciation for her community, Louise enjoys giving back. She is a proud Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Sudbury Sunrisers and served on the executive including President of the club (2016-2017; is a founding Soup Sisters (2014) with the Sudbury Chapter of Soup Sisters and has served on the board of the Sudbury Women’s Centre since September 2015.

Gisèle has over 35 years of experience in health care, teaching, coaching, executive leadership and governance. She is principal of VisionarEase Inc., an Ontario-based firm providing Positive Change Leadership & Consulting. The company’s Core Services are Client Centered Governance ® and Creative Life Coaching, with clients across Canada. Gisèle has been recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, nominated for an Influential Women of Northern Ontario Award and is the recipient of the YWCA Women of Distinction Award. A published author, her latest book is “HELP √ – Healthy Thinking in Times of Trouble”. Her philosophy? The only way to change anything, is to change the thinking that created it.

Kerrie hails from a background in social housing, and loves being around great people doing great work. Kerrie’s primary background was in the renovation business. With 15 years of managing retrofit construction projects, it was a perfect evolution in her career to open a business alongside her husband Peter dedicated to helping people build and renovate their homes.
Kerrie is a certified Project Manager Professional with her accreditation from the Internationally renowned Project Management Institution. Her flair for detail and her desire to help clients really fuels her everyday. She loves creating and working with unique products that really customize a space. Her goal is to bring the experience of design to home renovations ensuring all clients are living in a space that is uniquely them.

Chantal is an inspirational leader whose passion lies in the non-profit sector. Through her volunteer work and over 16 years of experience in leadership roles, she continuously strives to create a community where people can innovate, create and feel safe.
Currently, Chantal is the Executive Director of the Sudbury Vocational Resource Center where she leads a team dedicated to supporting the community with their employment needs.
As a Board Member for the Sudbury Women Centre, it is Chantal’s hope to utilize her strengths and knowledge of quality improvement, project management and LEAN training to support the Center be all it can be for women in our community.
